Have a different question? We’d love to hear from you!
How soon will I receive my final images?
Real Estate photos are typically delivered within 24-hours of photoshoot start time. When possible, they will be delivered sooner. You will receive an email with a link to download your photos in both a high resolution file size for printed materials and a low resolution file size suitable for uploading to the MLS and agent’s use on social media.
Are you a commercial drone pilot?
Yes! The FAA regulates commercial sUAS pilots and aircraft under 14 CFR part 107 and PorchLight Imaging’s pilot is FAA certified. Airspace clearances will be arranged ahead of flight time and all drone operations are liability insured.
Can I give these images to the homeowner? Builder? Stager? Anyone?
No. Property images are licensed to the listing agent for the purpose of marketing and listing the property for sale. PorchLight Imaging retains the copyright for all photographs produced. Additional licensing options are available, however, so please get in touch to discuss. Learn more
Do you charge travel fees?
PorchLight Imaging serves Seattle and the greater Puget Sound area. No travel fees are charged for shoot locations within 25 miles of our base location in northwest Seattle. Distances beyond that radius may be subject to a travel fee. Please inquire for further information.
How long does a photoshoot take?
The average real estate photoshoot takes approximately 90 minutes on-site. This includes all interior and ground-based exterior photography. Extended time or additional visits may be necessary for twilight or aerial imaging.
When & how do I pay you?
Payment is easy and can be made online by credit card at the time of media delivery. Invoice must be paid in full before final images are delivered. PorchLight uses Stripe to accept Visa, MasterCard, AmEx & Discover.
Can you just Photoshop that?
Photoshop is a wonderful tool and we use it daily but there’s no substitute for getting the shot right in-camera! Check out our Photoshoot Prep Guide for tips on preparing your home ahead of time. Note that most visible home blemishes cannot be edited out per MLS rules.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 24-hours before scheduled photoshoot start time. Photoshoots cancelled less with than 24-hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. More info can be found in the Terms of Service section.
